Hi girlies! 💘 — this is my story —
I’m 27 years old, turning 28 in a couple of months, and i’ve suffered reoccurring yeast infections and reoccurring BV’s since I was 16 years old and it’s been absolute HELL. I honestly started to loose hope. I tired any and every “natural remedy” — from shoving greek yogurt soaked tampon to actual garlic cloves up my hole overnight, to Monistat 1-Day/Monistat 3-Day, to doctor prescribed yeast infection medication (pills AND cream form), to doctor prescribed BV antibiotics.
It was the same vicious cycle, first i’d get BV then i’d get a yeast infection from the BV antibiotics and right back to square one.
For years that was my life. The embarrassment and shame I dealt with because my vagina would sometimes smell like either fish or just a strong weird order, if not it would itch rlly bad and get swollen from me scratching, pain during sex, and even thick discharge! Sometimes I would experience all of those symptoms all at once!
